October SEO Roundup by Ron Spinabella

October was the big SMX conference in New York where all the great minds came together to talk about the newest technologies in Digital Marketing.
Unfortunately I didn't get to go but they had some of the keynotes live streamed. Google presented a cool new rollout of advertising and tracking in store conversions with local advertising.
It was a little bit confusing on how Google actually tracks your behavior, especially how much money you are spending in the store.
They claim that you have to opt in to share your location settings but they had several other ways of tracking you.
SEM Rush had a good presentation comparing a whole bunch of keywords with different search volumes and different metrics which showed how they appeared in Search. I really want to go next year, hopefully they will have a good one in Las Vegas.
